Why Aavanu

Scheduling shouldn't take an evening

Plan the week

Minutes, not an evening. Publish once and everyone knows.

Every store, one roster

Switch locations in a tap. Wages set per person, per store.

Tasks that land

The closing crew, not the whole team. Nothing lost in a chat.

The schedule

Drafts stay yours until you publish

Nothing reaches your team until you press the button. Then everyone hears at once.

Watch the cost as you plan

Every shift you place updates the week's hours and what it will cost.

Tasks & chat

The right message to the right shift

Assign to two people, not to everyone. Overdue works itself out from the date.

The app

Two people, two screens

The owner checks the cost. Everyone else checks when they're next in.

Questions

Before you sign up

It's in early access — join the list and we'll send an invite as places open. Runs on iOS and Android, so your team can be on either.

No. It estimates what a week will cost before you commit to it. It doesn't remit source deductions, produce a T4 or pay anybody, and it leaves out statutory holiday pay, vacation pay and shift premiums. Keep your payroll provider.

Each store carries a province, and hours are banded against its daily and weekly thresholds for the general hourly employee — daily first, then the week. Exemptions (managers, averaging agreements, some commission roles) aren't modelled.

Their own shifts, hours and tasks. Not each other's wages, not your cost figures, and not a draft schedule — that's enforced in the database, not just the app.

That's the case it was built for. One account holds every store, and someone who works two of them at two rates is costed correctly in both.

Never — during the beta and after it. Whatever we charge for later, it won't be per head.
